EXTREME NORTH EXPEDITION: TAYRONA, CABO DE LA VELA & PUNTA GALLINAS

The great continental journey to the northernmost tip of South America, combining the Sierra Nevada, Tayrona, and the Punta Gallinas desert.

Day 1: Welcome to Santa Marta

Arrival at SMR and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Minca: Ecological Capital of the Sierra Nevada

Ascent in a 4x4 to Minca: tour through organic coffee and cocoa farms, swim in the Marinka waterfalls and viewpoints of the Sierra.

Day 3: Jungle and Sacred Beaches of Tayrona

Full day trekking in PNN Tayrona enjoying Arrecifes, La Piscina, and Cabo San Juan.

Day 4: Towards the Desert: Manaure and Cabo de la Vela

Start of the 4x4 journey through the salt mountains of Manaure and Uribia. Sunset at the Cabo de la Vela Lighthouse.

Day 5: Crossing of Bahía Hondita and Taroa Dunes in Punta Gallinas

Deep expedition through the trails of the desert to Punta Gallinas. Descent down the dizzying Taroa Dunes directly to the sea.

Day 6: From the Dunes to the Turquoise Waters of Mayapo

Descent in 4x4 to the virgin beaches of Mayapo. Comfortable accommodation facing the Caribbean Sea.

Day 7: Wayúu Culture and Riohacha Boardwalk

Morning of relaxation and water sports. In the afternoon, immersion in a Wayúu ranchería and night in Riohacha.

Day 8: Return Flight

Transfer to Almirante Padilla Airport in Riohacha (RCH).
