MUISCA HERITAGE, FOSSILS & COFFEE AROMA

A journey to the geological, pre-Columbian, and colonial past of Boyacá, linked with the natural exuberance and aroma of the Coffee Cultural Landscape.

Day 1: Arrival in Bogotá

Reception at El Dorado (BOG) and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: La Candelaria, Monserrate, and El Dorado

Tour of the historic center, ascent to the Monserrate sanctuary, and guided visit to the Gold Museum.

Day 3: Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá and Entrance to Boyacá

Departure to Zipaquirá to explore its underground cathedral. Pass by the Boyacá Bridge and nighttime arrival in Villa de Leyva.

Day 4: Paleontology, Vineyards, and Clay Hands in Ráquira

Visit to the El Fósil Museum, Monastery of Santo Ecce Homo, blue wells, and the pottery workshops in Ráquira.

Day 5: Return to Bogotá and Flight to the Coffee Region

Transfer to BOG airport and short flight to Pereira (PEI). Check-in at traditional coffee hacienda.

Day 6: Cloud Forest and Wax Palms in Cocora

Trekking in the Cocora Valley, garlic trout lunch, and walk through the bahareque houses of Salento and Filandia.

Day 7: The Alchemy of Coffee and Thermal Relaxation

Immersion in the special coffee process and a natural spa afternoon in the hot springs of Santa Rosa de Cabal.

Day 8: Farewell to the Coffee Region

Transfer to Pereira Airport (PEI) for return flight.
