Places to Visit: 1. Visit to Monserrate Hill: At Monserrate Hill, there is a spectacular monastery which is one of the most important viewpoints in Bogotá and Colombia. Located at 3,150 meters / 10,335 feet high, from where you can appreciate beautiful views of the entire city and the wooded area behind the hill. The guide will provide an explanation about the history of Monserrate and its importance, the city of Bogotá, its tourist attractions, and the current social classification of the country. 2. Historic Center - Candelaria: The client will have the opportunity to visit the place where Bogotá was founded, this place has spectacular colonial architecture where a historical legacy is preserved combined with a bohemian atmosphere. During the tour, the following will be visited: Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo, Plaza la Concordia and surroundings, La Manzana cultural, Luis Ángel Arango Library, and Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Center. 3. Bolívar Square: It is the administrative center, the epicenter of the activity of public powers and bodies. Where the following palaces and attractions are located: National Capitol, Liévano Palace - Bogotá Mayor's Office, Palace of Justice, La Calle Católica, and the monument to Simón Bolívar. 4. Gold Museum: The museum contains a collection of the best and most historical Pre-Columbian pieces from Colombia and their historical accounts of indigenous communities with a collection of more than 35,000 pieces in permanent exhibition, which for the date consolidates one of the largest exhibitions worldwide. (Closed on Mondays. Admission to the museum only applies for advance reservations and is totally subject to availability of spaces and slots at the Gold Museum).
